Firefly Jar Catch

Goal of the game

In Firefly Jar Catch you play with your hand in front of the camera. Your PALM carries a magic glass jar. Hold your hand OPEN and move it near the glowing fireflies, then close it into a FIST to catch every firefly inside the glowing ring. Catch several at once for combo points!

Never close your fist near the red WASPS — they sting (lose a life). Fill the jar to level up. Power-up orbs float around — touch them with your palm.

• Move slowly at first: Firefly Jar Catch follows your fingertip in real time, and smooth movements are tracked more accurately than jerky ones.
• If Firefly Jar Catch feels too hard at first, play a practice round to learn the timing before chasing a high score.

Scoring and levels

Chain successful actions without a miss to build a combo; Firefly Jar Catch raises the reward for every action inside a streak. You start with 3 lives. Your best score is saved in your browser, and signed-in players also appear on the Firefly Jar Catch leaderboard.

Power-ups

Power-up orbs appear every few seconds in Firefly Jar Catch. Touch or collect them to activate:

• 🧲 Magnet (9 s): pulls nearby coins and pickups toward you.
• ⏳ Slow-Mo (6 s): slows the whole game down so you can line up precise moves.
• 2️⃣ Double Points (10 s): doubles every point you earn while it lasts.
• ❤️ Extra Life: adds one life (up to six).
• 🛡️ Shield (10 s): blocks the next hit so a mistake does not cost a life.
• 🍄 Giant (8 s): makes you bigger, so hits and catches are much easier.
• ❄️ Freeze (5 s): freezes every moving threat in place.

Characters and world

The 3D world of Firefly Jar Catch features bees, honeys and lantern candles. Learning how each one moves is the key to reading the screen quickly.

Tips and strategy

• Don't chase every pickup in Firefly Jar Catch — grab only the ones on your safe path.
• Aim at the nearest threat first in Firefly Jar Catch; letting one slip through costs more than a missed shot.
