Spotlight Show game guide

Goal of the game

In Spotlight Show you play with the pitch of your voice (hum low or high). A star performer dances across the stage. Your hum moves the spotlight: LOW notes swing it left, HIGH notes swing it right. Keep the star inside the light to score every second — long streaks earn encores.

Shadow ghosts sneak onto the stage to steal the show: shine the light on them to burn them away before they reach the star (that costs a life). Leaving the star in the dark too long also costs a life. Power-ups fall onto the stage — catch them in the spotlight: Slow-Mo, Double Points and Giant Spotlight. Tune the 🎚️ sensitivity slider for your room.

  • 2️⃣ Double Points (10 s): doubles every point you earn while it lasts.
  • 🍄 Giant (8 s): makes you bigger, so hits and catches are much easier.

Characters and world

The 3D world of Spotlight Show features females, penguins, koalas and ghosts. Learning how each one moves is the key to reading the screen quickly.

Tips and strategy

  • Don't chase every pickup in Spotlight Show — grab only the ones on your safe path.
  • Rhythm matters in Spotlight Show: watch one full cycle before you act, then act on the beat.
  • Save your focus for the moment a Freeze or Slow-Mo starts — that is when Spotlight Show gives you free points.
  • Play Spotlight Show in a quiet room, then try it at a party — the louder the crowd, the funnier it gets.
  • Replay Spotlight Show a few times: each run teaches you the patterns, and scores usually double after the first five games.

Device requirements and privacy

Spotlight Show needs a microphone — the one built into your phone, laptop or headset is enough. Allow microphone access when asked; the sound is analysed live in your browser and never uploaded. It is free to play; free players may see a short ad between rounds (never during play), and Premium removes all ads.
