Hum Elevator

Goal of the game

In Hum Elevator you play with the pitch of your voice (hum low or high). Guests wait in the LOBBY and shout the floor they want (1–5). HUM: a LOW note sends the elevator to low floors and a HIGH note to high floors. Hold the car level with the right floor for a moment to drop the guest off.

Go QUIET and the car slides back down to the lobby to pick up the next guest. Guests who wait too long storm off (lose a life). Watch out for the ghost drifting through the shaft! Power-ups float into the shaft — touch them with the car. Use the 🎚️ sensitivity slider for your room.

Quick start

Hum Elevator in one line: Your hum is the elevator button — deliver every guest to the floor they ask for!

• Play your first run of Hum Elevator slowly to learn how it reacts to the pitch of your voice (hum low or high).
• After a game over, press Play again to try to beat your best.

Controls explained

• Quick reminder shown in Hum Elevator: 🎵 Hum LOW = lower floors · HIGH = upper floors · quiet = lobby.
• Hum or sing: low notes and high notes map to different positions in Hum Elevator, so practise sliding between them.
• Use the sensitivity slider if Hum Elevator reacts to background noise or misses your voice.
• If Hum Elevator feels too hard at first, play a practice round to learn the timing before chasing a high score.

Scoring and levels

Every 300 points you reach a new level, and Hum Elevator speeds up and sends more at you each time. You start with 3 lives. Your best score is saved in your browser, and signed-in players also appear on the Hum Elevator leaderboard.

Power-ups

Power-up orbs appear every few seconds in Hum Elevator. Touch or collect them to activate:

• ⏳ Slow-Mo (6 s): slows the whole game down so you can line up precise moves.
• 2️⃣ Double Points (10 s): doubles every point you earn while it lasts.
• ❤️ Extra Life: adds one life (up to six).
• 🛡️ Shield (10 s): blocks the next hit so a mistake does not cost a life.
• ❄️ Freeze (5 s): freezes every moving threat in place.

Characters and world

The 3D world of Hum Elevator features females, males, pandas and ghosts. Learning how each one moves is the key to reading the screen quickly.

Tips and strategy

• Don't chase every pickup in Hum Elevator — grab only the ones on your safe path.
• Rhythm matters in Hum Elevator: watch one full cycle before you act, then act on the beat.
• Save your focus for the moment a Freeze or Slow-Mo starts — that is when Hum Elevator gives you free points.
• With a Shield active, play aggressively in Hum Elevator; the next mistake is free.
• Play Hum Elevator in a quiet room, then try it at a party — the louder the crowd, the funnier it gets.
• Replay Hum Elevator a few times: each run teaches you the patterns, and scores usually double after the first five games.

Device requirements and privacy

Hum Elevator needs a microphone — the one built into your phone, laptop or headset is enough. Allow microphone access when asked; the sound is analysed live in your browser and never uploaded. It is free to play; free players may see a short ad between rounds (never during play), and Premium removes all ads.
