How to play Pitch Lane Train
Pitch Lane Train is a free voice controlled game you can play online with no download. Sing the switch! Send every coloured train to the station of the same colour. Because you play with sound instead of buttons, Pitch Lane Train is great for parties, kids and streamers, and every round takes only a minute or two.
Open Pitch Lane Train and allow microphone access when your browser asks (the front camera is only used as a live background and is optional).
Controls
- Make a sound (shout, hum, sing or clap) to trigger the main action.
- Louder or longer sounds give a stronger action; silence lets go.
- Use the sensitivity slider at the bottom if the game reacts too much or too little.
Tips
- Play in a quiet room first, then raise the sensitivity for noisy places.
- Short, sharp sounds give the most precise timing.
- Grab power-ups such as shields and slow motion to survive the hard waves.

Pitch Lane Train game guide
Goal of the game
In Pitch Lane Train you play with the pitch of your voice (hum low or high). Little trains chug in from the left. Before a train reaches the glowing SWITCH, hum a LOW note for the BOTTOM track, a MIDDLE note for the MIDDLE track or a HIGH note for the TOP track. When you go quiet the switch stays where it was.
Each train must reach the station with the SAME colour — a wrong station costs a life. Power-ups ride on the trains; deliver them to collect. Use the 🎚️ sensitivity slider for your room.
Quick start
Pitch Lane Train in one line: Sing the switch! Send every coloured train to the station of the same colour.
- Press Play on this page — Pitch Lane Train loads in a few seconds right in the browser.
- Tap Allow when the browser asks for the microphone, then read the short tutorial card.
- Play your first run of Pitch Lane Train slowly to learn how it reacts to the pitch of your voice (hum low or high).
- After a game over, press Play again to try to beat your best.
Controls explained
- Quick reminder shown in Pitch Lane Train: 🎵 LOW = bottom track · MID = middle · HIGH = top.
- Hum or sing: low notes and high notes map to different positions in Pitch Lane Train, so practise sliding between them.
- Use the sensitivity slider if Pitch Lane Train reacts to background noise or misses your voice.
- If Pitch Lane Train feels too hard at first, play a practice round to learn the timing before chasing a high score.
Scoring and levels
Points in Pitch Lane Train come from the code-defined rewards of 15 points for different actions, so the bigger moves are worth chasing. Every 300 points you reach a new level, and Pitch Lane Train speeds up and sends more at you each time. You start with 3 lives. Your best score is saved in your browser, and signed-in players also appear on the Pitch Lane Train leaderboard.
Power-ups

- ⏳ Slow-Mo (6 s): slows the whole game down so you can line up precise moves.
- 2️⃣ Double Points (10 s): doubles every point you earn while it lasts.
- ❤️ Extra Life: adds one life (up to six).
- 🛡️ Shield (10 s): blocks the next hit so a mistake does not cost a life.
Characters and world
