Jet Wave Boost game guide
Goal of the game
In Jet Wave Boost you play with your face and head movements. Steer your boat left and right with your NOSE through floating rings and around buoys, rocks and logs. Say JUMP (or any sharp sound) to launch off the water and fly over obstacles — in the air, tilt your head to collect coin trails. Say BOOST to burn turbo (fills from rings) and SPLASH to make a wave that flips nearby rival boats.

Quick start

Controls explained
- Quick reminder shown in Jet Wave Boost: Nose = steer · say JUMP · BOOST · SPLASH.
- Sit facing the camera with your whole face in view; Jet Wave Boost reads your nose position, blinks and mouth on your own device.
- Exaggerate actions a little — a clear blink or wide-open mouth registers more reliably in Jet Wave Boost than a tiny one.
- If Jet Wave Boost feels too hard at first, play a practice round to learn the timing before chasing a high score.
Scoring and levels
Points in Jet Wave Boost come from the code-defined rewards of 5, 10, 20 and 30 points for different actions, so the bigger moves are worth chasing. Chain successful actions without a miss to build a combo; Jet Wave Boost raises the reward for every action inside a streak. Every 400 points you reach a new level, and Jet Wave Boost speeds up and sends more at you each time. You start with 3 lives. Your best score is saved in your browser, and signed-in players also appear on the Jet Wave Boost leaderboard.
Power-ups
Power-up orbs appear every few seconds in Jet Wave Boost. Touch or collect them to activate:
- 🛡️ Shield (10 s): blocks the next hit so a mistake does not cost a life.
- 🧲 Magnet (9 s): pulls nearby coins and pickups toward you.
- ⏳ Slow-Mo (6 s): slows the whole game down so you can line up precise moves.
- 2️⃣ Double Points (10 s): doubles every point you earn while it lasts.
- ❤️ Extra Life: adds one life (up to six).
- ⭐ Star (8 s): makes you invincible for a short time.
Characters and world
The 3D world of Jet Wave Boost features boat fishings, boat sails, buoy flags, rocks, coins and boat rows. Learning how each one moves is the key to reading the screen quickly.
Tips and strategy
- Don't chase every pickup in Jet Wave Boost — grab only the ones on your safe path.
- Save your focus for the moment a Freeze or Slow-Mo starts — that is when Jet Wave Boost gives you free points.
- With a Shield active, play aggressively in Jet Wave Boost; the next mistake is free.
- Good, even lighting from the front makes tracking in Jet Wave Boost far more reliable than a bright window behind you.
- Replay Jet Wave Boost a few times: each run teaches you the patterns, and scores usually double after the first five games.
Device requirements and privacy
Jet Wave Boost needs a front-facing or web camera and works in Chrome, Edge and Safari on phones, tablets and computers. Allow camera access when asked; face tracking runs on your device and nothing is recorded or uploaded unless you choose to record a clip yourself. It is free to play; free players may see a short ad between rounds (never during play), and Premium removes all ads.
