Nitro Nose Racer game guide
Goal of the game
In Nitro Nose Racer you play with your face and head movements. Your car follows your NOSE left and right across the highway. Say BOOST (or any sharp sound) for a nitro burst — faster, more points and you smash through traffic (uses nitro ⛽, refill by collecting fuel cans). Say HORN to make the car ahead swerve out of your lane, and JUMP to hop over a car (5 s recharge).
Overtake as many cars as you can!
Quick start

Controls explained
- Quick reminder shown in Nitro Nose Racer: Nose = steer · say BOOST · HORN · JUMP.
- Sit facing the camera with your whole face in view; Nitro Nose Racer reads your nose position, blinks and mouth on your own device.
- Exaggerate actions a little — a clear blink or wide-open mouth registers more reliably in Nitro Nose Racer than a tiny one.
- If Nitro Nose Racer feels too hard at first, play a practice round to learn the timing before chasing a high score.
Scoring and levels
Points in Nitro Nose Racer come from the code-defined rewards of 10, 15 and 25 points for different actions, so the bigger moves are worth chasing. Every 400 points you reach a new level, and Nitro Nose Racer speeds up and sends more at you each time. You start with 3 lives. Your best score is saved in your browser, and signed-in players also appear on the Nitro Nose Racer leaderboard.
Power-ups
Power-up orbs appear every few seconds in Nitro Nose Racer. Touch or collect them to activate:
- 🛡️ Shield (10 s): blocks the next hit so a mistake does not cost a life.
- 🧲 Magnet (9 s): pulls nearby coins and pickups toward you.
- ⏳ Slow-Mo (6 s): slows the whole game down so you can line up precise moves.
- 2️⃣ Double Points (10 s): doubles every point you earn while it lasts.
- ❤️ Extra Life: adds one life (up to six).
- ⭐ Star (8 s): makes you invincible for a short time.
Characters and world
The 3D world of Nitro Nose Racer features race futures, taxis, vans, trucks, suvs and polices. Learning how each one moves is the key to reading the screen quickly.
Tips and strategy
- Don't chase every pickup in Nitro Nose Racer — grab only the ones on your safe path.
- Save your focus for the moment a Freeze or Slow-Mo starts — that is when Nitro Nose Racer gives you free points.
- With a Shield active, play aggressively in Nitro Nose Racer; the next mistake is free.
- Good, even lighting from the front makes tracking in Nitro Nose Racer far more reliable than a bright window behind you.
- Replay Nitro Nose Racer a few times: each run teaches you the patterns, and scores usually double after the first five games.
