Shuriken Shout Ninja

Goal of the game

In Shuriken Shout Ninja you play with your face and head movements. Enemy warriors leap out of the bamboo. Move your NOSE to aim and say STAR (or a sharp "hyah! ") to throw a spinning shuriken.

BLINK for a sword slash that cuts every enemy close to you. Say SMOKE to vanish in a smoke bomb — enemies lose you and their arrows miss for 3 s (10 s recharge). Say STORM when the ⚡ meter is full for a shuriken storm. Watch for red arrows and move out of their path!

Scoring and levels

Every 450 points you reach a new level, and Shuriken Shout Ninja speeds up and sends more at you each time. You start with 3 lives. Your best score is saved in your browser, and signed-in players also appear on the Shuriken Shout Ninja leaderboard.

Power-ups

Power-up orbs appear every few seconds in Shuriken Shout Ninja. Touch or collect them to activate:

• 🛡️ Shield (10 s): blocks the next hit so a mistake does not cost a life.
• ✨ Triple (8 s): multiplies your attack or catch three ways.
• ⏳ Slow-Mo (6 s): slows the whole game down so you can line up precise moves.
• 2️⃣ Double Points (10 s): doubles every point you earn while it lasts.
• ❤️ Extra Life: adds one life (up to six).
• ❄️ Freeze (5 s): freezes every moving threat in place.

The 3D world of Shuriken Shout Ninja features males, females, humans and tree pineRoundAs. Learning how each one moves is the key to reading the screen quickly.

Tips and strategy

• Stay near the centre in Shuriken Shout Ninja; it gives you the most room to dodge in either direction.
• Save your focus for the moment a Freeze or Slow-Mo starts — that is when Shuriken Shout Ninja gives you free points.
• With a Shield active, play aggressively in Shuriken Shout Ninja; the next mistake is free.
